Third Labor Medal to Embassy

Attendants of the Ceremony are Ambassador Vu Xuan Truong, officials and staff of the Embassy with their spouses. Representatives of Vietnamese Associations in the Philippines, of students and other Vietnamese living and working here in the Philippines, workers …are also present at the ceremony.

Following the National Anthem of Vietnam, Ambassador Vu Xuan Truong formally read the Decision of President Triet conferring the Medal to the Embassy.

On this occasion, Ambassador Vu Xuan Truong, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presented Certificates of Merit by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Pham Gia Khiem to Dr. To Phuc Tuong, IRRI Deputy Director General, Chairman of Calabarzone Vietnamese Association, to Dr. Le Van Cong for their  contributions to the Vietnamese Community and for their work in helping Vietnamese in times of urgent needs.

Taking this opportunity, the Ambassador updated the Community with  socio-economic situation in Vietnam. He also expressed his hope that the Vietnamese Community here will always take the example of President Ho Chi Minh in their daily work and life.

The ceremony ended with a get-together in the atmosphere of friendly, brotherhood added with Vietnamese traditional dishes.
